The TASER RING has 3 primary components: 2 Hardware and 1 Software

Component 1: The RING is meant to be worn on the finger. It contains 2 taser prongs that can be used to stun the attacker by giving them a high voltage electric shock. The taser prongs are protected by a cap to prevent unintended shocks. The RING connects to the BRACELET worn on the wrist of the same hand by a thin insulated wire. A diamond has been mounted on the cap in order to add to the beauty and elegance. This ring is made up of stainless steel which gives it a cool and expensive feel.

Component 2: The BRACELET is meant to be worn on the wrist of the same hand as the ring. It connects to the RING via a thin insulated wire. It consists of the following components:

  • Power source – a 4.7-volt Lithium-Ion rechargeable battery
  • Micro-controller – ESP32 for communicating with the Companion App
  • High Voltage converter – for stepping up 4.7 volts to 50,000 volts

Component 3: The Taser Ring Companion App is a multipurpose app that can execute multiple commands simultaneously. When the taser ring is activated it sends a signal to the app via Bluetooth and then the app automatically calls and also text messages the location of the user to the contact previously selected by the user. The user needs to pair the taser ring before wearing it so that an SOS signal can be sent when the user is in need. This app allows the user to contact people in an emergency which is a very crucial time. The app also sends an alert to the police and notifies them.

How does ‘TASER RING’ work? A Taser works by delivering high voltage — but low amperage — to the human body. A Taser delivers a powerful but temporary shock rather than a sustained and deadly charge. It can momentarily stun or render an attacker unconscious, yet the taser’s low electrical amperage and short duration of pulsating current ensure a non-lethal charge. Moreover, it does not cause permanent damage or long-term aftereffects to muscles, nerves, or other body functions and it doesn’t give any permanent damage to the body.
